Last night was so much fun, though not quite as much fun as the fictional story I wrote for the holiday spirit. I did in fact procrastinate on some awesome costume ideas but I still managed to throw something together in time that was not only impressive but also somewhat threatening to those who did not know me. Most people these days use Halloween as an excuse to dress up in whimsical and sexual costumes but I still prefer to use the holidays as an excuse to be frightening. Not that any of the other customers in the club were doing the same. In fact I was the only customer aside from two other regulars who had decided to dress up at all. I expected an absence of costumes from the older gentlemen who frequent the Seven but not from the younger crowd, who all seemed to think of themselves as being too tough to get into the spirit of the season.

Dumb.

It was somewhat of an interesting night though. The atmosphere was much more festive than I had expected and it was nice to have that feeling of celebration back in the club even if it was for just a short while. Everyone was having fun like we used to, and I think that I managed to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of three hundred dollars last night, purchasing drinks for myself and those around me while also enjoying a few lap dances and a generous number of stage sets. It was almost enough to make me forget that one of my clients had shown up though, and I am thankful for this, my costuming and makeup prevented him from recognizing me. Either that or it was the fact that I was wearing clothes at all which led him to ignore me. In either case the night went well, my business life did not stomp all over my private life, and much fun was had by all who were willing to have it. All in all I would say that it was a pretty successful evening out.

Hardly any customers were dressed up at my club, either.
Jesus did come in, although he didn't save any strippers that night. ;)
